Is God In Control?

Is God in control?  Is God in control of what, you ask? Is God in control over what happens here on the earth, in your life and in my life?  Do you have control over what happens in your life or is it all in the hands of the Lord?  Or is it a toss-up between God and satan?  This is I believe is one of the age old questions that will probably be asked until Jesus returns.  I have heard that God is in control and whatever He wants it will be.  I believe you have heard it too.  What do you believe?
